Answers to the most common questions from contributors. If you don't find what you're looking for here, check the Glossary or reach out to your platform administrator.

Who can see my draft articles?

Only you and team members with Editor or Publisher roles can see your drafts. Draft articles are never visible to platform readers. Your work stays private until it has been reviewed, approved, and published.

Can I edit an article after it's published?

Published articles cannot be edited directly. To make changes, an Editor or Publisher first archives the article, which reopens it as a draft. You can then edit and resubmit it through the normal workflow. Contact your Editor or Publisher to get started. See How It Works for the full process.

What's the difference between auto-save and manual save?

The editor auto-saves your work periodically to prevent data loss. However, only manual saves — clicking the Save button — create version snapshots that appear in your Version History. If you want to be able to restore a specific point in your writing, save manually. See Using the Editor for more on saving and version history.

I accidentally deleted my article. Can I recover it?

Unfortunately, deleted articles cannot be recovered. If you're unsure whether you still need an article, consider archiving it instead of deleting — archived articles are preserved in the system and can be reopened at any time.

My images aren't uploading. What should I do?

Check that your image file is in a standard format (JPG, PNG, or WebP) and under 5 MB. If the issue persists, try a different browser or clear your cache. Contact your platform administrator if the problem continues.

What is a Pillar and which one should I choose?

Pillars are content categories that organize articles on the platform — examples include Nutrition, Movement, Sleep, Mental Health, Medicine, and Health Tech. Choose the one that best fits your article's main topic. Every article needs a pillar assigned before it can be published. See Metadata & Pillars for guidance on choosing the right one.

How do I know when my article has been reviewed?

Check your Articles dashboard — the status badge next to your article will change from "In Review" to either "Approved" (ready for publishing) or back to "Draft" (with editor feedback for you to address). See Submitting for Review for more details.

I'm an Editor or Publisher. How do I find articles waiting for my review?

Go to the Articles section in your dashboard and filter by "In Review" status. This will show all articles that contributors have submitted and are awaiting editorial review. See Reviewing & Publishing for the complete review workflow.
